Wetlands Services

SAGE has expertise in the identification, delineation, and evaluation of wetlands and waters that are subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. Permits are required under Section 404 to discharge dredged or fill material into waters of the United States, including wetlands. SAGE provides wetlands delineations and evaluations that assist in project planning to avoid and minimize impacts to wetlands, which will increase project cost-efficiency. SAGE prepares Section 404 permit applications and assists with resource agency consultation, using our experience to guide clients through the permitting process as quickly and efficiently as possible. We can also further assist in the preparation and implementation of plans for compensatory mitigation, as required for permitting.
